Your donations will go directly to helping ensure this project comes to fruition, as well as toward creating permanent exhibits and robust programming once the Baggage Car is open to the public.

We want to fill the Baggage Car with real stories from the real African Americans who have made our community great. If you want to share your personal history or that of your family and friends to help us achieve that mission, please contact Curator of Education Elaina Gyure at 239-252-8242 or Naples Depot Museum Manager Lisa Marciano at 239-252-8421.

One way that museums tell stories in a meaningful way is through documents, photographs, and artifacts. We would be honored to receive donations of archival materials and artifacts that deepen our understanding of the Black experience in our community. If you have materials that relate to the Black history story of Collier County that you would like to share, please contact Curator of Collections Jennifer Guida at 239-252-8724.

All of the partners on this project are powered by volunteers. We couldn’t do what we do without the selfless gift of time that many talented people give to us. We’d love for you to join them.
